Abstract
In this paper, we offer a set of reasons in support of the recovery of phenomenology by feminist theory for the critical analysis of sexual experience and the elaboration of emancipatory theoretical knowledge based on it. A reappropriation of the phenomenological methodology of the epoché is proposed as a philosophical equivalent to feminist self-awareness practices.
